Cristiano Ronaldo is set to visit Kupang, Indonesia, on February 18, 2025, as part of a humanitarian mission to provide assistance to local churches and orphanages. The Portuguese football star, who has achieved global fame and success, was invited by Dr. Susi Marya Kapitana, the leader of the Graha Kasih Indonesia Foundation. Ronaldo's arrival is eagerly anticipated, as he aims to make a positive impact through various charitable contributions.
During his visit, Ronaldo will focus on several key initiatives, including donations to improve the Christian Elementary School in Tuapukan, which is currently in dire conditions. Additionally, he plans to visit the Tiberias Foundation in Naunu Village, where he will present a vehicle to support transportation for the Al Hikmah Orphanage in Kupang. In total, Ronaldo is expected to undertake 14 charitable programs during his stay, which reflects his commitment to giving back.
Ronaldo's activities will also include a tour of the construction site for an International Cancer Hospital in Oematnunu, scheduled to begin in March 2025. His visit will culminate in a meeting with the governor of East Nusa Tenggara on February 19, followed by further engagements in Kupang and Labuan Bajo until February 22. This trip not only highlights Ronaldo's philanthropic efforts but also signifies the importance of community support and development in Indonesia.
