João Cancelo asks to leave Manchester City with game time limited

João Cancelo reportedly wants to leave Manchester City this summer as he does not consider himself a ‘bench man’.
Cancelo joined City from Juventus last August but in his first season has struggled to usurp Kyle Walker as first-choice right-back, as per football data provider iSports API.

The Portugal international has played 90 minutes just eight times in the Premier League and has been heavily rumoured to be of interest to Barcelona, according to iSports football livedata.
And according to Mundo Deportivo, Cancelo doesn’t see his long-term future at the Etihad Stadium and will ask to be sold during the next transfer window.
Manchester City will return to Premier League action on June 17 with a home game against Arsenal.
