Chelsea sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley stated: "On behalf of everyone at Chelsea, we thank Pochettino for his work this season. He is always welcome back at Stamford Bridge, and we wish him all the best in his future coaching career." Pochettino expressed: "I thank the Chelsea ownership group and sporting directors for giving me the opportunity to be part of the club’s history. The club is now in a favorable position to continue progressing in the Premier League and Europe in the coming years."
Chelsea officially announced that Pochettino's coaching staff will leave with him, and the club will not make any further comments until a new head coach is appointed. (End of announcement)
This season, under Pochettino's leadership, Chelsea achieved sixth place in the Premier League and ended the season with a five-match winning streak.
