Espanyol has officially announced that they have signed 21-year-old Turkish winger Unuvar on loan from Ajax. The official statement read: "Espanyol Club and Ajax Club have reached an agreement on the transfer of forward player Unuvar (born on June 13, 2003). He will play for Espanyol this season. Unuvar was previously a member of Turkey's U21 national team, and last season, he was loaned to Twente by Ajax." During the 2023-24 season, Unuvar was on loan at Twente, where he made 25 appearances (2 starts), played a total of 604 minutes, scored 4 goals, and provided 3 assists. According to previous reports, Unuvar's loan period is until June 30, 2025, with a purchase option included in the loan agreement.
