In the third stage of the World Cup Asian qualifiers, Bahrain and Indonesia engaged in a fierce contest. Bahrain's Mohamed Mahon opened the scoring with a stunning long-range free kick. Indonesia then turned the game around with goals from Orah Matmegon and Rafael Struick.
In the 9th minute of stoppage time, Mohamed Mahon rescued Bahrain with a sliding shot, completing his brace and securing a last-minute equalizer. In the end, the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
