Notably, he scored over 20 points in eight of his ten games, including a standout performance of 41 points in a remarkable comeback win against the Boston Celtics. Meanwhile, LeBron James, at 40 years old, guided the Lakers to a 10-2 record, averaging 29.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 6.9 assists. This marked James as the oldest player to receive the Player of the Month award, surpassing the previous record held by Karl Malone.

The Rookies of the Month honors went to Isaiah Collier of the Utah Jazz and Zaccharie Risacher of the Atlanta Hawks.
