Bayern's Record-Breaking Title Run Sets Up Treble Bid
Đăng trên Tháng tư 20, 2026, updated on Tháng tư 20, 2026
Bayern Munich have secured the Bundesliga title again, but this one may stand apart from the rest. Their 4-2 comeback win over Stuttgart sealed a 35th league crown and kept the Treble dream alive with the German Cup and Champions League still within reach.
What makes this season so striking is the scale of Bayern’s dominance. They have scored more goals than any Bundesliga side before them, reached 109 in the league, and could still push toward 120 with four matches left. At the same time, they have been strong defensively too, conceding only 29 goals all campaign.
The attack has been led by Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Diaz, a forward line that has tormented opponents all season. Kane has been the standout, scoring 32 league goals and 50 in all competitions, while also making a serious case for individual honours. His output has carried Bayern back to the top of German football and into the later stages of Europe’s elite competition.
Kane’s own words underline the scale of the challenge ahead. He has said that major trophies matter more than personal statistics, and Bayern now have the chance to match that ambition with silverware on multiple fronts. The club’s semi-final tie against Bayer Leverkusen in the German Cup and their Champions League meeting with Paris Saint-Germain will decide whether this becomes a truly historic year.
If Bayern complete the Treble, it would be only the third time they have done so, after 2013 and 2020. Even more remarkably, they would become the first European men’s team to win three trebles, a milestone that would further strengthen their case as one of the continent’s great dynasties.
Vincent Kompany’s first season in charge has clearly settled into something more polished and ruthless. Last year was still a period of adaptation, but Bayern now look far more fluent and assured in his system. That growth, combined with their extraordinary consistency, has made them the benchmark for German football once again.
The real question now is whether anyone can stop them. With their domestic title already wrapped up and their form showing few signs of slowing down, Bayern are chasing a finish that could turn a record-breaking league season into one of the most complete campaigns in their history.
