Hakimi Sidelined for Bayern Second Leg
Posted on April 30, 2026, updated on April 30, 2026
Paris Saint-Germain right-back Achraf Hakimi will miss the Champions League semi-final return leg against Bayern Munich after picking up a right thigh injury in Tuesday's 5-4 first-leg win. The Morocco international played the full 90 minutes and assisted Khvicha Kvaratshelia, but pulled up with a hamstring problem late on despite no subs remaining.
PSG confirmed Hakimi faces "the next few weeks" out, ruling him out of the May 6 clash in Munich. He had only returned to the lineup after sitting out at half-time in last weekend's Ligue 1 win over Angers.
The injury also casts doubt over Hakimi's World Cup involvement, starting in six weeks across the United States, Canada and Mexico. As an ever-present for Luis Enrique's side and scorer in last season's final, his absence weakens PSG's defense at a critical stage.
